For me "The Awakening" is a film about 'When Sindhu meets Sindhu'. I have approached the film as 2 stories which waited to meet each other. Firstly, a young girl called Sindhu and secondly an ancient civilisation called Sindhu. It was so very gratifying to follow this riveting journey of a girl, who is in the quest of her own roots. As the subject was sensitive in nature it required to be given a human touch. "The Awakening" was an enriching experience and I felt growing as a writer...
